Donation & Financial Transparency Policy
SADAF Foundation is committed to the highest standards of financial transparency and accountability.
This policy governs how all donations are received, managed, and reported.
1. Donation Receipt
- Every donation is acknowledged with an email receipt.
- Zakat donations receive a specific Zakat receipt for your records.
- Corporate CSR donations receive a full impact documentation package.
- Receipts are valid for your personal tax records where applicable.
2. Fund Management
- Zakat funds: held in a completely separate bank account, disbursed only to Zakat-eligible recipients, Sharia-compliant and segregated in our accounting system.
- Sadaqah / general funds: used across SADAF Foundation’s programs at the discretion of the Board.
- Restricted / program-specific donations: used only for the stated purpose.
- Corporate CSR funds: documented against agreed SDG KPIs, with quarterly reports to the donor organisation.
3. Financial Reporting
- Annual reports submitted to SECP as required by Section 42
- FBR annual tax return filed
- EAD registration for international funding compliance
- Accounts maintained under IFRS for NPOs standards
4. Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. In the event of a demonstrable processing error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount), please contact info@sadaffoundation.com within 7 days of the transaction. Refunds, where approved, are processed within 10 business days.
5. Payment Security
Online payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified payment processors. We never store your card details. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS). Bank details are never published on this website.
